If someone is concerened about leaving shavings in the intercooler, you could rig something up where you use sometimes of compressor attachment to continuously blow air from the other end while u grind away.. This would blow dust and debree(*spelling) out of the core. I think that would work.
:As I posted earlier stillen intercooler flanges are poorly made and need some porting for better flow. Its ID is only 40mm and its now even smooth. I ported it to 42mm with air grinder drum sand paper 60 grit and 120 grit and later polished it with wire wheel and it all looks nice and smooth now.I blew the residue dust with air and flushed it with water afterwards to make sure its all out. ICs will flow more cfm now probably same as greddy. Mike(azheat) inspared me on doing it sense its obvious. :I saw no post regarding this issue thats why I posted this so if some other members whant to do it, here is my idea. : :
